What is involved:

You and your team will navigate your way from task to task accompanied by a Killary instructor who will brief you and make sure you are not breaking the rules. Points are awarded for successfully completing the challenges in the time allowed. And of course if you feel the need to douse yourselves in real Irish bog mud you will have ample opportunity to do so!

Who the Killary Challenge is suitable for:

This is a really great activity for groups of friends, work mates, families or stag and hen parties. It is also of great benefit to school and youth groups and even to corporate team building groups as it has been designed to encourage teamwork, personal development and bonding. As it is not as physically demanding as some of our other activities it allows for everyone to take part regardless of fitness levels. The lower age limit for this activity is 8 years.

Sample Tasks:

While we would not like to give too much away, the Killary Challenge can include tasks such as Unexploded Bomb where your team has to remove a bomb from an enclosure to a safe area without detonating it...not as easy as it sounds! Or how about Bog Ski? Making your way with your entire team across the bog on our special skis, without touching the ground, of course. And then there is Confrontation where you and your team become human chess pieces. The list is endless (we have put a lot of thought into this in our 30 years!). So why not choose the Killary Challenge and flex those lateral thinking muscles, impress your friends and colleagues with your hidden talents and have really great fun while you do so!

What to bring:

You do not need any specialised clothing or equipment however in our What to Bring information we recommend that you dress for the weather in the west of Ireland which you may have heard can boast 4 seasons in one day! We would also advise you to wear older clothes as there is some mud involved in this activity and your white clothing will probably never look the same again...
