Training Weekends for Intermediates at Killary Adventure Co - 13-15th April 2012 - CANCELLED

We have been running Gaelforce Training Weekends successfully for 3 years now.

 

They are suitable for anyone who is relatively fit (rough benchmark would be you are able to run a slow 10km or cycle a slow 20km without it taking too much out of you) and would like to adapt their training for adventure racing, or those who are familiar with adventure racing but would like to improve their performance on the day.

 

It is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, swop tips and training ideas and hopefully continue to train together after the weekend.

 

The weekend also gives you an opportunity to actually run parts of the Gaelforce West or Connemara route under the expert tuition of Ireland's top adventure racing athletes.

 

The programme consists of arriving Friday night, activities all day Saturday (running, kayaking), dinner, optional pub trip, and training on Croagh Patrick on the Sunday.

 

The weekend programme is outlined as follows:

The Cost for the intermediate weekend is €135pps.
 

This includes:

  • 2 nights B&B in dorm rooms (twin/Double available upon request)
  • 1 lunch - Saturday
  • Dinner on Saturday night
  • Lectures
  • Activity programme as outlined above.

 

The weekend is also available without 2 nights accommodation or dinner on the Saturday night for €89pp.
