Non-Residential/Day Camps

Children from 8 - 18 years also have the option of our Day Camps. They can book for anything from a 3 hour (half day) session up to 5 consecutive days of activities. Rates vary accordingly and lunch is included in all full day packages.

Day campers will join the residential campers' programme each day so they will have plenty of opportunity to get to know other children of their age throughout the time they are with us.

Over the week they will get to do up to 15 of our adventure activities.

What to bring

You can find out the day before what activities your child will be doing, however weather can change things so it is best to cover all eventualities. Having the recommended clothing and personal gear with them for each activity will make for a much better experience!

For water sports pack: Swimming togs, towel and waterproof sun cream. Also extra t-shirt, shorts and old runners (all to get wet)

For climbing activities pack/wear: Tracksuit, runners, fleece or hoodie, waterproof jacket (even if it looks sunny!) and very importantly, midge repellent.

For mucky activities pack/wear: As above but clothes may get ruined so as old as you can find!

All other equipment such as wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids etc are supplied.

We are sorry but Killary can accept no responsibility for any of your child’s valuables. We highly recommend that they leave anything of value at home. If they want to leave a phone in the reception for safe keeping it must have their photo on it as a screen saver.
