This programme has been specifically designed for corporate groups (or sports teams etc) who would like to improve their team bonding, communication and general ability to function together as a group but would like to do this is a fun and exciting environment rather than a more serious day of outdoor team work and facilitation
This is a highly entertaining and unique day of activities that has a combination of activities that includes Lasercombat Games, The High Ropes Course, Killary Challenge team tasks and a grand finale raft build. The object at the outset of the day is to gain as many points in the different tasks through out the day to exchange them for vital equipment needed for the raft build.
This adds a fun competitive element to the day which gives an added incentive to work well as a team.
The High ropes course is an exciting aerial adventure above the treetops. You will be put through your paces as you try and complete a range of obstacles that await you on this high adrenaline activity. Scale the monkey rings, make the trapeze jump and tackle the log walk while keeping your nerve. Your team-mates will be with you all the way and our instructors will be there for guidance, safety and encouragement. No problem if heights are not your thing, half the team will have to stay on the ground to help in rope work.
In Laser Combat games you use high tech laser guns and you will be in a forest area competing with your team mates for valuable points. For those who love games of strategy and stealth you will be in your element here as you try and capture the opposing teams. This is a great activity for communication, leadership and strategy development
The
Killary challenge is designed around the basic principles of survival with fun
mental and physical challenge. Again this particular challenge will see your
group divided into teams competing against each other to claim points. Each team
must do a number of tasks and be awarded on their achievements. The easy tasks
will carry the least amount of points and the hardest the most. Tasks are set up
at varying distances from the start point. Teams will locate each task with a
map.
The Grand Finale is a raft build.
Will you have gained enough points throughout the day to purchase the
essential items for your raft? Four
barrels, a set of planks and an assortment of ropes will be your basic
requirements. However the key
ingredients will be the design of the raft by the team members.
The team that builds the best raft
and paddles it a required distance wins the competition.
This activity day proves to be great fun, with enough of a competitive edge to keep everyone on his or her toes throughout the day. Do not worry if your group are not fit or afraid or water/heights as all of the activities have a choice as to which level you want to participate in.
