We have spent many years developing our schools programmes here in Killary. It is more than just learning a new sport, it is a whole experience, a balance between fun and personal development. Highly Developed Programmes
Schools have always been an integral part of the Killary business. Throughout the history of Killary we have developed our schools programmes to balance fun, excitement and personal development all within the highest safety standards possible. Monitoring our programmes and re-evaluating them on an ongoing basis is all part of our commitment to providing outstanding school multi-activity programmes in Ireland.
Accommodation
The K2 - The Killary centre is our purpose built accommodation base. We have wonderful accommodation with all rooms en-suite, under floor heating and we provide sheets and duvets in all the rooms which is included in the price. You just have to bring towels. The rooms are based on 6 and 4 bed dorm rooms. The centre has a a large dining room, TV room and extra recreation rooms. Also available are extra shower blocks, games room, drying room, key cards for all rooms, tuck and craft shop. K2 offers a great mix of fun, comfort and relaxation, the ideal accommodation for all.
Low Rates and FREE Teachers
We offer a 24 hour rate from as little as €41 per student. With every 10 students, one teacher comes free. Check out our Youth Rates on our Low Rates pages for details. Killary Adventure Co. is approved by ISA - Irish Sailing Association, IAAC - Irish Association of Activity Centres and Failte Ireland - Irish Tourism Board.
Teachers at Killary
Bringing students away can be hard work for teachers. We work with a philosophy that a break for the students should also be a break for their teachers. Our highly qualified instructors are in-house trained to provide top class supervision for your students.
We offer a 24 hour student supervision system at Killary.
The Choice is yours. You can join your students on any of the activities during the day, or join in their super night time programme. Alternatively observe from a distance and feel free to relax and unwind away from all the excitement secure in the knowledge that your group is in very capable hands. Each school group is appointed a group leader who you will be able to liase with at all times during your stay.
Day Trips
We offer a great programme for schools that just want to come for either a half-day or a full day of activities. Check out our rates page for price details. We can also supply lunch at a very reasonable price.
