Kayaking

Kayaking in Ireland and Killary Fiord is the ideal venue.These are very small one man boats with an enclosed cock pit that you take out on the Killary Fjord using a double sided paddle. You captain your own kayak as you paddle out in the clean deep waters of the Killary Fjord. Just a 10 minute paddle will bring you to seal island where a family of seals will tolerate you quietly paddling amongst them. Kayaking instructors will offer you a choice of a relaxing paddle through unique scenery or perhaps challenge you to swapping kayak's with another person, would you take up the challenge?

Hobie Cats are an exciting yet simple craft to sail. Their twin hulls give them great speed combined with great stability. The session lasts for three hours and with an instructor you take to the Killary Fjord. If you are new to sailing don't worry as qualified and experienced staff will have you sailing before you know it.

Lower Age Limit: 8 years and they must have an adult with them if under 12.
